The Dreamsongs Wide Range is our interpretation of the iconic Wide Range humbucker introduced by Fender in the early ’70s — a design known for its remarkable clarity, openness, and dynamic response.

While the original design used CuNiFe threaded magnets, we chose carefully selected grades of FeCrCo to preserve the unique Wide Range architecture while refining its tonal response.

Each pickup is voiced specifically for its position, with dedicated neck and bridge versions that deliver balanced output, clear articulation, and excellent note separation.

Like our Strat Humbucker, the Dreamsongs Wide Range is designed to perform exceptionally well when split, producing articulate and musical single-coil tones while retaining body and definition.

The result is a pickup that delivers the wide, piano-like clarity of the original Wide Range, with improved balance, responsiveness, and versatility for modern players.

Dimensions

The Dreamsongs Wide Range follows the original Wide Range humbucker dimensions. It is larger than a standard PAF-size humbucker and uses a different mounting pattern, so it will not fit into a standard humbucker rout or mounting ring.

For guitars routed for standard humbuckers, the Dreamsongs Wide Range HB format delivers the same tonal philosophy in a traditional humbucker size.
