Description
The Dreamsongs Wide Range HB brings the character of the classic early-’70s Wide Range humbucker to guitars routed for standard humbuckers.
While the original design used CuNiFe threaded magnets, we chose carefully selected grades of FeCrCo to preserve the unique Wide Range architecture while refining its tonal response.
Each pickup is voiced specifically for its position, with dedicated neck and bridge versions that deliver balanced output, clear articulation, and excellent note separation.
Like our Strat Humbucker, the Dreamsongs Wide Range HB is designed to perform exceptionally well when split, producing articulate and musical single-coil tones while retaining body and definition.
The result is a pickup that captures the wide, piano-like clarity of the original Wide Range, with improved balance, responsiveness, and versatility — now in a format that fits standard humbucker guitars.
